Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the writ petition was filed, the complaint lodged by him has been registered as FIR being Howrah P.S. case no. 471 of 2025 dated 31st October, 2025 and investigation has commenced.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the police authority to continue with the investigation in a fair, impartial and unbiased manner and take the same to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
