All except one private respondent have been served with notice.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the owner of the land in question. The private respondents who are rank outsiders had been trying to encroach the land. In fact, they forcibly entered into such land. Complaints were made by the petitioner to the police authorities. But no help was rendered. The police only registered a GD entry. Learned counsel for the State submits as follows. The allegation of police inaction is denied. In fact, the police had taken steps earlier by instituting a proceeding under Section 107 of the Code.

It appears that on an earlier complaint, the police had instituted a proceeding under Section 107 of the Code of

Criminal Procedure.

No further order need be passed in this regard. However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. If any untoward incident occurs or is apprehended by the petitioner, he shall be at liberty to intimate the same to the local police station who shall then act in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
