Jannat Ul Firdous .... for the de facto complainant Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits there is slow progress in the matter. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail and submits witnesses have been examined after the rejection of bail by this Court.

We have considered materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in the murder. Trial is in progress and two witnesses have already been examined. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
