Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of the investigation of Bharatpur Police Station Case No. 94/2024 dated 17.04.2024 under Sections 406/420/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report which reflects that 13 witnesses have been examined in connection with the instant case. Statements of some of the witnesses have also been recorded before the learned Judicial Magistrate. Documents have been submitted which are being acted upon by the investigating agency. According to the learned advocate for the State, the investigating officer has put in full efforts for

unearthing the truth in respect of the allegations made by the petitioner.

Having considered the steps so taken, I direct the investigating agency that if there is no impediment, they should arrive at a conclusion within a reasonable period of time and file their report before the jurisdictional criminal court. The petitioner, if he is aggrieved, would approach the jurisdictional criminal court in respect of the outcome of the investigation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 24104 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
