...For the State Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the dispute has already been settled between the parties as per the order of the Hon'ble High Court passed in C.O. 2118 of 2016 by way of Memorandum of Settlement entered into by the parties before the Learned Mediator, the Hon'ble Justice (Retired). The petitioners do not want to proceed with the case since the petitioners have already been acquitted from the proceeding being G.R. Case No. 749 of 2009 arising out of Girish Park Police Station Case No. 56 of 2009 dated 28.04.2009 under Section 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Let the copy of order dated 19.12.2016 filed by the petitioners be kept on record.

Accordingly, CRR 3194 of 2016 stands dismissed as not pressed.
