Ms. Meenal Sinha, learned advocate appears on behalf of the opposite party appointed through the Calcutta High Court Legal Services Committee. This is an application filed under Section 401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of the impugned proceeding being, Case No. C 172 of 2013 / T.R. No.216 of 2013 and all subsequent orders passed therein in connection with the instant case under Sections 506/ 504/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The matter is pending since 2015 and is running in the Warning List since long. None appears on behalf of the petitioners. In view of the facts and circumstances and long pendency of the matter, this Court finds no reason to keep the matter pending any further. Accordingly, the revisional application being, C.R.R. 3037 of 2015 stands dismissed for default.

Let a copy of this order be forwarded to the learned Trial Court for information.
