Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied before the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer for the correction of the land records. The petitioner is not claiming title in respect of the immovable property concerned.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner sold the immovable property by a registered deed in favour of a purchaser claiming title over the immovable property concerned.

There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner. There is a photocopy of a title deed claimed to be executed by the petitioner in respect of which the petitioner now claims no title.

In such circumstances, need for immediate custodial interrogation of the petitioner cannot be overlooked. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5051 of 2022 is dismissed.
