Petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of Misc. (DV) Case No. 02 of 2015 pending before learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Contai.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the case was filed in the year 2015 and has been continuing since then. According to the learned advocate, examination and cross-examination of PW-1 is complete and presently cross-examination of PW-2 is in progress. It is informed that next date has been fixed on 21.05.2024. Having regard to the fact that the case is continuing for nine years, I direct the learned trial court to fix at least one date in a month for the purposes of the present case so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournment be granted to either of the parties and the trial of the case would continue in spite of any resolution of the local Bar.

All efforts be taken to conclude the evidence of both the sides and pronounce verdict by 31.12.2025.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 3756 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
