The report has been prepared by the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad Police District. The report reflects that list of witnesses who are available and are to be examined by the prosecution. A copy of this report be placed before the ld. Trial court.

In view of the witnesses being available and the accused being in custody for a considerable period of time, I direct the ld. Trial court being the ld. Addl. Sessions Judge, Lalbagh, Murshidabad to fix a schedule consisting of three dates in every twenty days in respect of Bhagwangola P.S. Case No. 217 of 2019 dt. 16.5.2019 so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a

reasonable period of time. The report also reflects that 17 witnesses are to be examined.

In view of the aforesaid, I direct that a Nodal Officer be engaged so that a communication is created between the ld.

Public Prosecutor conducting the case and the administration so that execution of the notices to the respective witnesses may be made speedily.

Ld. Public Prosecutor conducting the case would produce all the materials, exhibits and documents on the date so fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties. The trial of the case should continue in spite of any resolution of the local bar and the conducting advocates will not stall the proceedings on any ground whatsoever. In case, any witness is not available on the date so fixed, a direct communication be made by the ld. Addl. Sessions Judge to the concerned Superintendent of Police through the Nodal Officer, who would be engaged by the State so that the availability on the next date so fixed be made transparent to the ld. Trial court and the trial can progress smoothly for reaching the conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3757 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of.
