By filing this public interest litigation the petitioner alleges that a playground is illegally converted for the purpose of putting up a building.

The above submission of the petitioner appears to be factually incorrect since the land is not classified as play ground and the land in question has been utilized for putting up construction of an integrated English medium school and for which appropriate permissions have been obtained from the authorities concerned and the Forest Range Officer, Tehatta Range, Nadia has also granted permission. Thus, we find there is no illegality committed as alleged in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
