Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No. CS/123686/2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 12th Court, Calcutta, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the matter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that plea could not be recorded in the case due to absence of the accused/ opposite party after being released on bail.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as the business of the court permits without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR No. 4137 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
