The grievance of the petitioner is that the documents which were submitted in the Bank at the time of obtaining loan, have not been released despite the loan amount being repaid.
Representations were filed before the Bank but the same have not been considered or disposed of till date.
Learned advocate appearing for the Bank submits, upon instructions that, the grievance of the petitioner shall be looked into by the Bank.
In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chief Manager, Baidyabati
Sheoraphuli Cooperative Bank Limited to take immediate steps to consider the representations dated 6th February, 2020 and 18th July, 2023 that have been filed by the petitioner highlighting her grievance, at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. An opportunity of hearing shall be given to the petitioner.
The Bank will intimate the petitioner the formalities that are required to be complied with for taking refund of the security deposit and the collateral security documents from the Bank.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to forward copy of the aforesaid two representations to the Bank at the time of communicating the order of the Court.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
