Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the present petitioner happens to be the father-in-law of the injured victim who is in custody for about 50 days. It has also been pointed out that similarly placed accused persons have been released on bail.

Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary as also the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. of the injured victim.

On an assessment of the materials in the case diary particularly the statement of the injured victim as also the period of detention undergone by the present petitioner, I am of

the opinion that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.

Petitioner shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of like amount each. One of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM, Jangipur.

If on bail, the petitioner shall make himself available as and when called for by the Investigating Agency. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2132 of 2025 is allowed. Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
