The petitioner is the Head Teacher of Gulabari Primary school, a school under Islampur Circle of Uttar Dinajpur District Primary School Council.

The petitioner was entangled in a criminal case; consequently was suspended from his service. The petitioner, after being acquitted, is praying withdrawal of the said order of suspension and permission to resume his duty.

A representation of the petitioner to the said effect forms part of the writ petition being Annexure P-9. The respondent no. 4 is directed to consider said representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. W.P.A. 23977 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
