Mr. Badurya Ghosal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank submits that the petitioners filed the present writ petition for a direction to the respondents to consider them for promotion from the post of office Assistant (Multi Purpose) to Office Junior Management (Scale-I). Pending writ petition, all the petitioners retired from service in the year 2015 itself on attaining superannuation and nothing survives. In view of the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as nothing survives.
