Mr.Samaresh Chandra Dhara, ... for the petitioners Mr.Naren Ghosh Dastidar ... for the State The present writ application of the year 2016 has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent authorities to place or submit the statement of marks obtained by or awarded to each of the candidates who participated in the Recruitment Test, for the posts of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers under Hanskhali Block, District-Nadia, which was held under the Notification dated 3.11.2009.

The State has placed a status report in the form of affidavit which is as follows :

"Sir, The Office of the under signed is submitting the reply of the given quaries para wise.

Q. (i) Number of vacancies in respect of Anganwadi Workers / Anganwadi Helpers, as per notification dated 2006 which culminated in the selection in the year 2009. Reply: Number of Angwadi Workers:89 (Eighty nine ) Number of Angwadi Helpers : 127 (one Hundred Twentyseven ).

Q. (ii) Number of successful candidates in respect of the said posts.

Reply : Number of Angwadi Workers : 89 (Eighty nine ).

Number of Angwadi Helpers : 115 (one Hundred fifteen).

Q. (iii) Number of persons appointed in respect of the said posts.

Reply : Number of Anganwadi Workers : 72 (Seventytwo ).

Number of Anganwadi Helpers : 106 (one Hundred Six).

This is for your information and taking necessary action.

Admittedly the petitioner is not a qualified candidate but has challenged the process. The petitioner was at liberty to ask for the statement of mark under the RTI Act.

As per direction of the Court in this proceedings/ hearing the State has also placed the compilation of mark sheet which was duly considered by the learned Single Bench.

Considering the report filed by the State as on date and the admitted case of the petitioner that she is not a qualified candidate as per the result declared , this Court finds no merit in the writ application and as such the same stands dismissed.

Report filed by the State be kept with the record.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stand vacated.

Parties are directed to act on the server copy of this order.
