1. The attendance register in original of the son of the petitioner and the mark sheet of the candidate in class -IX has been placed before this Court. The same is perused and returned to the learned advocate representing the school by keeping the photo copy of the relevant pages of the attendance register with the records.

2. It appears that the son of the petitioner hardly attended the school in class-IX and he consistently scored abysmally low marks in the exams. He failed in the class- IX annual examination. According to the school, the candidate has been wrongly promoted to class-X. The

admission fee taken from the candidate on account of admission in class-X has been sought to be refunded.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner disputes the marks obtained by his son in the class-IX examination.

4. On a perusal of the documents placed before this Court, especially the attendance registrar and mark sheet of the student which is claimed to be uploaded in the Banglar Sikhsa Portal, the Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

5. The school shall refund the admission fee to the petitioner.

6. The writ petition stands dismissed.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
