The petitioner appearing in person is aggrieved as the police authorities are not taking appropriate steps in respect of the grievances expressed by him with the concerned police station. I find that C. Case No. 4679/2022 is the genesis of the case which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar. Since the learned Judicial Magistrate is already in seisin of the matter, the petitioner would approach the concerned court in respect of the inaction of the police authorities and whether it would be in the fitness of the circumstances for the police authorities to act upon such complaint - such a decision is to be taken by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

In view of the observations made above, the writ petition being WPA 23326 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
