1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the custody of the petitioner. More so, no independent witness was there which amounts to non-compliance of statutory provisions and that the petitioner is languishing in jail from 1.7.2025 and, accordingly, prays for grant of bail.

2. Learned advocate for the prosecution on the other hand raises objection and submits that investigation is still going on and it involves inter-State racket and the nature

of allegation is serious and, accordingly, prays for rejection of the bail.

3. Having heard the learned advocates for both the parties, perused the case diary, statement made by the witnesses and the seizure list where, prima facie, the signature of the petitioner is found and involvement of huge quantity of contraband in this case, this Court is not in a position to grant bail.

4. Hence, the application is dismissed.

5. Urgent Photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be delivered to the learned advocates for the parties, upon compliance of all formalities.
