The petitioner applied for transfer on the ground of long distance of the school from his residence as well as on the ground of being a surplus teacher. 3.

His application for transfer is pending consideration at the end of the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas.

Without going into the merits of the application, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas to consider the said

application in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of 90 days from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the application seeking transfer along with all documents in support of the same to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
