Petitioner is in custody for 317 days. He has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor child. Petitioner is the step father of the minor and had violated her.

In view of the gravity of the offence and the possibility of influencing her, if petitioner is released on bail, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
