Mr. Sabyasachi Chatterjee Mr. Manoj Kurmi Ms. Chandni Chowdhury ...for the appellant Ms. Munmun Ganguly Mr. Sayan Ganguly ..... for the State Pursuant to the order dated 24.09.2024, the CWC, Kolkata submits the report wherefrom it appears that the boy was intercepted at Nagpur and was produced before CWC, Nagpur and thereafter was placed in a Child Care Institution. Subsequently, The CWC, Nagpur handed over the custody of the child to the CWC, Kolkata and now placed in a Child Care Institution in Kolkata. The social investigation report has not been submitted as yet. According to the counsel for the respondents, it is in process.

Considering that, the CWC has taken steps, the counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not intend to proceed with the instant writ petition and will approach the appropriate authority provided under the law.

In such view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
