It is submitted by the advocates appearing on behalf of the parties that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and no purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition alive. In this context, the petitioner relies on a letter dated January 30, 2021 written by the respondents/ LIC which may be kept on record.

In view of the submissions made by the parties nothing survives in the writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition being WPA No. 21621 of 2019 stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
