The petitioner complains that the private respondents are interfering with the possession of his land and threatening to steal away the harvest.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Bhatar Police Station, Purba Bardhaman addressed to the learned State Advocate and the same is taken on record. The remedy of the petitioner is to seek appropriate injunction before the appropriate Civil Court. The Bhatar Police shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area and shall comply with the orders that may be passed by the Civil Court in this regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
