The said application has been affirmed by the petitioner as well as the opposite party.

The main revisional application related to Chandipur Police Station Case No. 162 of 2017 dated 13.8.2017 under Sections 420/406/424/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Today, a report has been submitted by the Officer-in-charge, Chandipur Police Station which encloses a statement of the complainant as also his communication addressed to the Officerin-charge, Chandipur Police Station. Let the same kept with the record.

I have considered the application being CRAN 1810 of 2018 where the petitioner and the opposite party have expressed their intention to withdraw/compromise/compound the case pending against each other as the issues/disputes have been settled

amongst them and therefore is not interested to pursue the case, which was registered under Sections 420/406/424/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the nature of the offences complained of and the subject matter, I am of the opinion that further continuance of the proceedings are unwarranted in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties.

Accordingly, all further proceedings arising out of Chandipur Police Station Case No. 162 of 2017 dated 13.8.2017 under Sections 420/406/424/506 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Midnapore, are hereby quashed.

Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1810 of 2018 along with CRR 3270 of 2017 is allowed.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently, disposed of. Interim order is made absolute.
