However, the State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission are represented by the learned advocates.

The learned advocate representing the Commission submits that the petitioner offered his candidature for being selected as an Assistant Teacher in connection with the selection process of 1st SLST 2016 (Classes IX and X). It is also submitted on behalf of the Commission that candidature of the petitioner was rejected due to insufficient qualification. Furthermore, it needs to be recorded that entire selection process for being appointed in

the post of Assistant Teacher for Classes IX and X under SLST 2016 has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of aforesaid scenario, no relief can be granted to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
