The petitioner seeks water connection. Application for providing water connection was submitted before the Corporation on July 22, 2023. The same is yet to be disposed of.

Learned advocate representing the Corporation submits that there are certain formalities which are required to be complied with by the petitioner for the purpose of effecting water connection to the subject premises.

It has been submitted that spot inspection has already been conducted and the formalities that are required to be complied will be communicated to the petitioner shortly.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of directing the Corporation to intimate the petitioner the requirements and the formalities to be complied with for obtaining water connection in the subject premises.

The same shall be communicated to the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. Be it recorded that if the formalities are complied with, then the Corporation shall take steps to provide water connection to the petitioner subject to payment of necessary charges.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
