This contempt proceeding arose from the order dated July 8, 2024 at page 21 to the contempt application.

The compliance report in the form of affidavit filed by the alleged contemnor shows that, by a communication dated April 22, 2025 after passing the reasoned order with the finding that illegal and unauthorized construction is there on the subject land, the matter has already been referred before the jurisdictional Sub-Division Officer, annexure - E at page 20 to the compliance report.

After considering the rival contentions of the parties and upon perusal of the materials on record, this Court is of the firm and considered view that, the direction of this Court dated July 8, 2024 stands complied with by the Pradhan being the alleged contemnor in this proceeding.

Nothing further survives in this contempt proceeding in so far as the alleged contemnor is concerned.

In view of the above, the instant contempt proceeding W.P.C.R.C. 153 of 2024 stands dropped and closed.

Rule issued stands discharged.

The application being W.P.C.R.C. 153 of 2024 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs. In the event, the petitioner finds any other non-compliance of the direction of this Court against any other authority, the petitioner shall be at liberty to take steps in accordance with law.
