The instant case pertains to seeking of a platform for loading/unloading of perishable items to the extent of 05 tonnes from leased RT-VP by train no. 12663/12664 at Howrah.

Learned counsel appearing for the Union of India submits that the lease contract awarded or executed in favour of the petitioner has already been discontinued, w.e.f 17.12.2024 by way of a letter of termination dated 29.10.2024.

Report filed in Court today is taken on record. In the light of the instructions filed by the Eastern Railway, the same has rendered infructuous since the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed.

The writ petition being WPA 23500 of 2022 stands disposed of accordingly.
