Final report submitted by the learned Mediator is taken on record. It appears that the mediation has failed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application under Section 25 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act has been dealt with by the learned trial Court and 24th March, 2025 has been fixed for orders. Learned counsel seeks expeditious disposal.

In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to take the application under Section 25 of the Act of 2005 to its logical conclusion on the next date fixed before him and in any event not later than a fortnight thereafter.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case which shall be dealt with by the learned trial Court in accordance with law.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the application are deemed to have been denied by the opposite parties. CRR 4162 of 2024 is disposed of.
