By a notification dated November 25, 2022 issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, the Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region, Kolkata which was an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education was held to be under the purview of the provisions of the Administrative Tribunals Act, on and from November 21, 2022.

Mr. Kumar Jyoti Tewari, learned counsel appears on behalf of the Union of India/the respondent no. 1. In the light of the submissions made by Ms. Monika Ray, the writ proceeding being WPA 23505 of 2022 stands transferred before the appropriate tribunal

under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is directed to pay the costs of Special Messenger for transfer of the records in W.P.A. 23505 of 2022 before the appropriate Tribunal.

Notification dated November 25, 2022 is retained with the records.
