Mr. Gobindo Chandra Baidya ...for the petitioner Copy of memo dated 29.11.2024 issued by the ssi Ct. 17 Collector under the West Bengal Public Land (Eviction of unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1962 as filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the collector has caused necessary inquiry upon the petitioner's complaint and it was found that the private respondent had encroached upon public land. It appears that concerned authorities are in seisin of the matter and are acting on the complaint of the petitioner. Let the respondent authorities take their action to its logical conclusion in accordance with law and upon hearing the private respondents.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

It is clarified that merits of the case have not been

gone into.

Parties shall act on a server copy downloaded from the official website of this Court.
