Writ petition is heard finally in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and Staterespondents. Since no one is representing the West Bengal Central School Service Commission Mr. Sunit Kr. Roy, learned advocate who normally represents the Commission who is present in Court is requested to represent the Commission in the matter. Engagement of Mr. Sunit Kr. Roy be regularized by the concerned authority of the Commission.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits upon placing reliance on a document which is at page 17 of the writ petition that on 23rd September, 2022 transfer application of the petitioner on the ground of distance was forwarded by the concerned District Inspector of Schools to the West Bengal Central School

Service Commission and issue is pending before the Commission for taking final decision.

Learned advocate representing the Commission submits that if direction is given upon the Chairman of the Commission the decision to be taken in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being respondent no. 3 to take decision on the transfer application of the petitioner by 4 (four) weeks from the date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by the respondent no. 3 shall be communicated to the petitioner within 1 (one) week thereafter.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
