Writ petition is finally heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that transfer application was made on the ground of distance and the same is presently pending before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. In support of such submission reliance is placed on a document which is at page 19 of the writ petition. According to the petitioner on 23rd September, 2022 the concerned District Inspector of Schools forwarded the transfer application of the petitioner to the office of the Commission.

The Commission is represented by learned advocate who submits that if appropriate direction is

given upon the Commission decision to be taken in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being respondent no. 3 to take decision on transfer application of the petitioner within 4 (four) weeks from the date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by the respondent no. 3 shall be communicated to the petitioner within 1 (one) week thereafter.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
