The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that despite orders of the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas dated 18th September 2018 the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate has not given assistance to the petitioner to take possession of the secured assets. Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner have not put in the necessary costs. The costs were communicated to the bank yesterday. Let the cost be paid on or before 16th November 2022.

The possession of the secured asset shall be taken by the Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate on behalf of the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas and will be handed over to the petitioner on 22nd November 2022.

The petitioner shall communicate this order to the Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, District Magistrate, North Parganas and all other respondents.

The instructions of the Inspector-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station dated 9th November 2022 is taken on record.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
