Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that though the petitioners were granted long term mining lease vide deed of lease registered on 1st November, 2017 for a period of five years, he was unable to continue with mining operation for a considerable period of time due to several reasons including rampant illegal sand mining and forcible closure of the sand block by local miscreants. The petitioners seek liberty to submit a comprehensive representation before the concerned authority seeking extension of the period of lease and prays for direction upon the authority to consider the representation at the earliest.

Upon consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to submit a comprehensive representation stating the entire contention as made out in the wit petition before the 4th respondent within a fortnight from date. The 4th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation within six weeks from the date of receipt thereof after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The writ petition is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
