By this writ petition petitioner has challenged the impugned award passed by the Arbitrator relating to the loan taken by the petitioner from the respondent Co-operative bank concerned.

It is an admitted position that the petitioner has taken the loan and defaulted in making payment.

Learned advocate representing the respondent bank submits that alternative remedy is available to the petitioner by way of statutory review under Section 148 (2) (b) of West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act, 2006 which the petitioner has not availed.

Considering the submission of the parties and without going into the merits of this writ petition being WPA 23549 of 2022 the same is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative remedy. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
