Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It is submitted by both the parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. It appears from the statement of the private opposite party, which is part of the report that she does not intend to proceed with the matter any further on account of mutual settlement of the dispute between them. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 3799 of 2023 is allowed.

The proceeding pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kalyani, Nadia being GR Case no. 1311 of 2023 is quashed.

The petitioner be set at liberty at once and be discharged from his bail bond.

CRAN 1 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
