Mr. Uttam Kumar Bhattacharyya ... for the petitioner Mr. Saibal Bapuli, Mr. Subrato Roy ... for the State The present application has been preferred for relaxation of the condition of bail, as incorporated in the order of this Court dated 26th November, 2019.

Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the said order dated 26th November, 2019, the petitioner appeared before the trial court and prayed for bail. Such prayer was allowed by the learned court below on 23rd December, 2019. He, however, prays for relaxation of the condition to meet with the investigating officer once in a week until further orders, as incorporated in the order of this Court dated 26th November, 2019.

Upon perusal of the records it appears that in terms of the order dated 26th November, 2019 passed by this Court, the petitioner appeared before the court below and prayed for regular bail. Such prayer was allowed and accordingly, the directions contained in the order dated 26th November, 2019 stood merged with the said order.

In view thereof, the condition in the order dated 26th November, 2019 to the effect that "the petitioner shall meet the investigating officer one in a week until further orders" does not survive.

The application, being CRAN 1 of 2020 is, accordingly, disposed of.
