1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. By an order dated 19/1/2026 passed by this Court, the Passport of the petitioner was directed to be returned to him so that the petitioner could travel abroad in terms of the schedule given in the application. Within 48 hours of returning back, the petitioner was to deposit the Passport before the jurisdictional Court. However, after getting the Passport back, it was found that all the pages had got exhausted. The petitioner has to pray for issuance of a fresh Passport. Annexure P-5 to the CRAN no. 6 of 2026 contains the new schedule for travel. Accordingly, time be extended to retain the Passport and have it renewed/reissued and, thereafter travel as per the plan given.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions imposed.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, let the petitioner be permitted to retain the Passport till 15th June, 2026 and apply for renewal/reissuance of Passport and travel with the same according to the travel plan incorporated in Annexure P-5 of the CRAN No. 6 of 2026. Within 48 hours of returning back, the petitioner shall deposit the Passport before the jurisdictional Court.

4. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the CRAN 6 of 2026 is disposed of.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
