Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is the wife of the 3rd respondent and alleges that she is being continuously tortured and assaulted in her matrimonial home by the private respondents who are also threatening to poison her three minor children.

The petitioner lodged complaint before the jurisdictional police. The FIR has been registered and investigation is in progress. The investigating authority is directed to conduct fair and proper investigation and take the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law. The police authority shall also render all possible assistance and protection to the petitioner in order to avoid any breach of peace. A lady constable be deputed to visit the matrimonial home of the petitioner where she resides

everyday to ensure that there is no breach of peace therein.

No fruitful purpose shall be served by keeping the writ petition pending. The same is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
