1. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. In view of the fact that since the appellant applied for general transfer under Utsashree Portal on the ground of dissolution of marriage by decree of divorce and a child of 7 years is in her custody before the said Portal is disabled, we dispose of the appeal by directing the District Inspector of Schools(S.E), Howrah to consider the application of the petitoner, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and decide the matter within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order by either of the parties.

3. In view of the aforesaid, the appeal being MAT 1920 of 2023 stands disposed of.

4. In view of the disposal of the appeal, nothing remains to be decided in the application for stay being CAN 1 of 2023 and the same is accordingly disposed of.

5. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
