The Officer-in-Charge, Charu Market Police Station and the investigating officer of FIR No.8 of 2022 dated 30th January, 2022, are present in Court. 2.

It is submitted that the accused person has been arrested and police custody has been granted until tomorrow.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that four other cases, in which the accused person has been shown arrested, are pending with the Charu Market Police Station.

It is expected that an effective investigation has also been conducted in the other four cases.

It is submitted by the Officer-in-Charge, Charu Market Police Station and the investigating officer that the accused has been remanded in judicial custody in the other four cases.

It is further submitted that certain bank accounts of the accused person have been frozen.

The investigation must continue effectively and aggressively. It is expected that the investigation into all pending FIRs be completed as expeditiously as possible. 8.

The Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata and Alipore and the banks shall extend full cooperation to the investigating officer. They shall produce all documents sought for by the investigating officer immediately upon receipt of request in this regard.

The Personal presence of the Officer-in-Charge, Charu Market Police Station and the investigating officer are dispensed with.

10.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

12.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
