The petitioner asserts that, without any acquisition proceedings, the respondents intend to demolish his existing structures to carry out this construction.

The Panchayat is not represented. Consequently, the allegations raised by the petitioner cannot be adjudicated by this Court in the absence of the Panchayat.

The petitioner has submitted a representation to the Panchayat on September 5, 2024, and claims that this representation has not yet been considered. In light of the foregoing, I dispose of this writ petition with a directive to the Block Development Officer of the Thakurpukur Mahestala Development

Block, respondent No.

6, to consider the representation dated September 5, 2024, at page 15 of the writ petition, within one month from the date of communication of this order in accordance with the law, ensuring that the petitioner is afforded an opportunity of hearing.

Furthermore, all parties are directed to maintain the status quo as of today until the decision is rendered by the Block Development Officer of the Thakurpukur Mahestala Development Block.

WPA 24157 of 2024 is disposed of.
