Counsel for the State on instruction submits that a sum of Rs.43,645/- is due and payable to the writ petitioner towards arrear after enhancement of pay scale. The District Inspector of Schools has transmitted the said amount to the School Education Department.

The Commissioner, School Education Department shall within a period of 15 days from date transfer the said amount to the bank account of the writ petitioner particulars whereof are available from the school. The school shall forthwith transmit the particulars of the petitioner to the School Education Department. The amount of Rs.43,645/- shall be paid togetherwith interest at the rate of 8 percent per annum on and from 15th September 2009 till the date of actual payment. The Commissioner of School Education Department shall be identify the persons responsible for the delay in making the payment to the writ petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
