Petitioner complains that, the police is proceeding against a wrong person in a criminal complaint. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits on instruction that, the police inquired into the matter and found that Mir Zulfiker Ali, who is the petitioner herein, is the same person as the accused. It is not for the Writ Court to decide the identity of an accused in a criminal proceeding. It is for the petitioner to raise such issue before the Jurisdictional Magistrate if he is so entitled to law. In such circumstances, no interference is called for.

WPA 21791 of 2019 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
