1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioners claim that Bhagwangola Police Station has not taken any steps in respect of the complaint dated 11th September, 2021 against the private respondents.

3. Counsel for the police submits that proceedings under Sections 107 and 116(c) of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been taken out.

4. This Court is of the view that the petitioners have effective remedy under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and also under the civil law against the private respondents.

5. Reserving liberty to the petitioners as indicated hereinabove, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
