1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The writ petitioner initially complained of inaction on the part of Matia Police Station in respect of a complaint dated 28th October, 2022.

3. It is submitted across the bar by the Counsel for the petitioner that FIR has since been registered.

4. It is ordered that the investigation into the subject FIR be completed as expeditiously as possible within a period of two months from date.

5. All efforts must be made by Matia Police Station to recover the stridhan articles and any amount of dowry (Den Mehar) paid by the petitioner's family to the private respondents.

6. Appropriate steps shall be taken before the Magistrate in this regard, if necessary. The police shall notify the petitioner of any application for bail made by the private respondents.

7. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8. There will be no order as to costs.

9. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
