1. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

2. Considering the materials in the case diary and the nature and extent of complicity of the present petitioner and also having regard to the gravity of the offence and the statement of the wife of the victim which directly implicates the petitioner of brutally assaulting her husband and such statement is also corroborated from the post mortem report, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
