For the Petitioner Since innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being S.T. no. 5(06) of 2018 pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd Court, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice to the opposite parties. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced if the proceeding is disposed of expeditiously.

Complaint was lodged in 2017 and charge-sheet was submitted on 8th August, 2017. Charge was framed on 30th June, 2018. Evidence is yet to commence.

In view of the above, the revisional application CRR 3831 of 2023 is disposed of directing the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd Court, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas to dispose of the proceeding being S.T. no. 5(06) of 2018 pending before him within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party, in accordance with law.

Consequently CRAN 1 of 2023 is disposed of.
